Or as it's known as in Corvallis, "The foul ball that changed it all."

Fans still yell "Arkansas" when two or three opponents converge on a foul ball.

If we're talking about Arkansas baseball, I feel obligated to share this gem.

Video of a Georgia pitcher doctoring his glove in the bullpen has been making the rounds. Jomboy comes in with the breakdown.

Pretty obvious that the only just and reasonable punishment is . . . strip them of 50 football scholarships. :)

Is cheating widespread in college baseball? Seems like it would be easier to get away with than in MLB.

I guess when you do a lot of your own field maintenance, clearing a downed tree from the road by hand is no big deal.

Final "real" Pac-12 event at Microville Tech today, Beavers crush UCLA 15-1 in baseball. Series drew 12k for the weekend.

UCLA is in last place in the Pac-12 (6-21), is under .333 overall (16-33) and gave up 11, 12 and 15 runs while getting swept. That's unbelievable from UCLA, a traditional national power in this century. Apparently, they are young, have had some injuries, and transfers/recruiting defections from players who want nothing whatsoever to do with Big Ten baseball.

Thanks for this. I have been oblivious to college baseball this season, but I did take a quick look at the standings a few days ago. I was shocked to see UCLA in last place. I wondered why, thinking NIL issues or the general disarray in the athletic department. I didn't know.

Equally odd is Miami at 23-27 overall and 10-17 in the ACC.
