I knew this, I mean, but it really hit home over the past couple of days when Travis Green got another job (he did so well in Vancouver) and they mentioned on the last NYR game that this was the sixth team Laviolette has coached. You go around the league and bunches of guys have multiple stops on their record.

It's been a running joke for Laviolette. Before the Washington series against the Rangers, one of the reporters at the presser before game 1 asked something about how Laviolette was fired by Washington last year and now he was facing them in the first round, and Laviolette said something to the effect of, "If that is the angle you are going for, you are going to be able to do that story every round if we advance because I have coached so many teams."

Sure enough, before the Carolina series, a reporter joked, "The Peter Laviolette revenge tour is continuing, eh?" and Laviolette said that was guaranteed whether Carolina or the Islanders had won that first round series, because he coached the Islanders too.

I won’t hold a Vancouver against him. He coached under the worst management group of the cap era.

I just saw an ad for something called Milf Manor 2. I swear to God, we are a half-step from Ow, My Balls becoming a reality.

Vancouver holds on despite the entire third period looking like an Edmonton power play.

First time watching the Rangers this postseason. What’s with the $2 bills?

    Maybe just tonight.
If it's NYR-FLA in the conference final, I so hope Rempe gets the chance to kick Tkachuk's ass.

If they’re ever on the ice at the same time, I’ll eat a bug.
