    1. The bill of your cap should face forward. Its literal purpose is to keep the sun out of your eyes.
    2. The bill must have a distinguished curve. A flat bill makes you look like a dumbass.
    3. The cap rides above your ears. If your ears are inside your cap, you look like a penis.

Only one exception: Minnie Pearl keeps the tag.

Taking my wife fishing is like taking my great niece fishing. The only difference is one is an impatient child who won’t listen to anything you tell her, and the other is a 7-year-old.

The woman in the Ratt video for Round and Round, Lisa Dean, died young, 50.

Turns out she was Dirty Diana. She died 5 months after he did.

I would love to know what a 19th century American would think encountering our modern food. Would the flavors overwhelm their palate? Disgust them? Or would they never stop raving about, I don’t know, Hamburger Helper? My German and Scottish grandparents were flummoxed by basic Italian food. Would a guy from 1836 even know what to do with a Cinnabon? I’m imagining it would end up as insulation for a cabin.

My 86 year old aunt has been living with us for the past couple of weeks while she recovers from surgery. Leaving aside whether my marriage will survive if the situation goes past the one month point, building the atomic bomb was easier than teaching her how to text.

I was reading a history of a building yesterday, and it called it a "turn of the century" blah blah blah. I understood it meant 1900. When will that no longer mean that?
I pass a military surplus place today across the road from Camp Lejeune called Saigon Sam's. I know the significance. When will it no longer matter?
