    Senator Tuberville is - I know you're going to be totally shocked by this - dead wrong. The long held convention is that only the current president should be formally referred to with a title that includes the word "president" and former presidents either revert to a previous title, e.g. Senator Obama, Gov. Bush, etc., or are referred to as "mister." The exception is during an introduction.

    "Mr. Trump" is exactly the respectful and formal title that prosecutors should be using in court.

    But in Tuberville's defense, none of the football coaches I've spent time around in my life were terribly couth.
