PEOPLE’S EXHIBIT 201 - LETTER ON MCDERMOTT WILL AND EMERY LETTERHEAD

“In a private transaction in 2016, before the U.S. presidential election, Mr. Cohen used his own personal funds to facilitate a payment of $130,000 to Ms. Stephanie Clifford. Neither the Trump Organization nor the Trump campaign was a party to the transaction with Ms. Clifford, and neither reimbursed Mr. Cohen for the payment directly or indirectly.”

HOFFINGER: “Was that statement false or misleading?
COHEN: Misleading. While crafting the statement, we elected to state neither the Trump Organization nor the Trump campaign was a party to the transaction. That’s a true statement…”
    HOFFINGER: “But it’s misleading.”
COHEN: “It was neither the Trump organization nor the Trump campaign; it was Donald J. Trump himself.”

"Alabama is not Michigan" sounds like a recap of the 2023 college football season.

    No. No, it's not.

As screwed up and racist as people here can be, and are, Mississippi overall is where Alabama was twenty to thirty years ago. There are legit reasons why "Thank God for Mississippi" is something of a catchphrase in Alabama.

No. We are bad. I won’t pretend otherwise. Mississippi is on a different level when it comes to hatred of blacks.

    TOO SOON
