I'm really curious how he does as an analyst. Obviously, nobody is going to not watch a game he's doing, but he'll talk more in one game (spontaneously) than he has his entire career. I know he'll put the work in, that's what he does - but likeability is something the audience decides, all the prep can't give it to you.

 

You know who else was good in the beginning but went too far?

 

Well, Fox really threw him in the pond to see if he can float with his first game -- Cowboys-Browns. What will he say about DeShaun Watson? If he ignores the obvious, he'll get roasted. If he doesn't, he'll sound real phony and also piss off the NFL. He can't win.

I hope Brady suddenly realizing the roast may have been a bad idea is more due to trying to "clean" his image with the Fox gig, than his analytical skills. I mean, he saw previous roasts, right?
