I've seen that same setup in New Deal, TN. It's on a very curvy back road with no shoulders, so a picture isn't happening, but yes, it is real.

Supposedly, there was video. All information out of there is dubious. People here keep quoting casualty figures from Gaza's Ministry of Health, which is run by Hamas.

Three things that bug me on this topic:
    1) In a lot of stories where they mention the death toll, they'll give the Gazan number and cite the number provided by the Gaza Ministry of Health. Then it'll be followed with a sentence saying, "Israel says XXX amount, but has not provided evidence."
What evidence has the Gaza Ministry of Health provided to back up its claims? I don't doubt the number is high, but it sure seems like they're taking one side's unconfirmed numbers as gospel while totally dismissing the other's. Or at least it reads that way.

    2) Lots of women and and children in Gaza, apparently. Every story talks about "women and children" killed. Many stories throw "mostly" in front of it. Using that as a descriptor is an obvious play on sympathies that seems to go unchallenged. Again, obviously a lot of civilians are dying in this war. But those three or four words are being used — often lazily — to frame a narrative of Israel as bloodthirsty monsters. It also ignores that Hamas murdered hundreds of women and children on Oct. 7.

    3) The Gaza Ministry of Health has got to be the most efficient bureaucracy the world has ever known. In a chaotic war zone, where food and water are scarce, literally every minute is a battle for survival, and most of the area has been reduced to rubble, the GMH has not just a good estimate of the number of people killed but the total they give is often right down to the number. It's not "approximately 30,000," it's 32,743. An hour after an airstrike it's not "at least 100 people are believed dead ," it's "128 people were killed." Seems odd, especially when you compare it to the Russia-Ukraine war where you never see such precise figures.

No. 3 is a great explanation of why so many of the protestors are behaving like idiots in helping Trump. I don't agree with all of what he is saying, but one thing is inarguable among the sane. If all you care about is helping the people of Gaza and that is the only issue motivating your vote, it has to be Biden.
