In 35 years the Wolves have twice advanced out of the first round.

The first time, in 2004, the run was wrecked by Sam Cassell hurting himself doing a Big Balls dance (though I think the Lakers still beat them).

Now...Mike Conley not playing tonight after hurting his Achilles on last play of the game in Game 4.

Two veteran point guards who changed the team and led the franchise to new heights. Both then injured. Of course.

Wolves didn’t lose tonight because of no Conley; they played worse than DEN. Can you be the D player of the year when Jokic scores with ease on you and hunts the switch for you??

This Jokic press conference is a clown show. Asking if he is;a genius and has he had an IQ test?

Me too. They are an easy team to like. They share the ball and they work hard. It's easy to enjoy that as a fan.

What a game, from Brunson and Hartenstein in particular, but it was pretty balanced last night w/McBride, Hart, Ragu2 having their moments. ...

Can definitely still be D player of the year. All-time greats can roast anyone one-on-one. Jokic has done it to Bam, Davis, Draymond, three other perennial contenders for DPOY. Shaq mauled Dikembe in 2001 after he got defensive player of the year.

I still think Wolves have decent chance to get the next two. But also still believe winner of Nuggets-Wolves will roll through Dallas or OKC.

I hate the Knicks as a matter of principle, but have to admit I have a hard time disliking any of the current ones, excepting DiVincenzio. He can eat a bag of dicks.

This series has been a lot of fun so far, as I'd hoped it would be. I'm hoping it goes to 7, both because I'm still holding onto hope for my Pacers and because I want two more of these games regardless. I'm also hoping, with both teams being relatively young, that we're in for some rematches in the coming years.

Maybe its nostalgia, given the history of the Knicks and Pacers from the 1990s and being a teenager in that era, but this series has an old school vibe to it for me.

As smooth as Halliburton is, he’s a total sieve on D.

Dante will go down in Knicks lore for the dunk and then the altercation with Turner.
