    No mention of pitch count.
And I know it's Texas, but why have him play football again after the first surgery?

That might make it more impressive. According to the Gamechanger app he only threw 76 pitches, 67 of which were strikes.

Westburg batting leadoff, Henderson batting cleanup. I like it, and I liked it even before Westburg just took Kikuchi over the wall to open the bottom of the first.

Bradish looks sharp, too. Throwing 98.

Also, Texas has a pitch count limit of 110 or whatever it takes to finish the batter if the 110th pitch comes duing an at-bat. So there can't be any more Kerry Wood 175 pitches in a double-header nonsense anymore

The Pirates would have pulled him before that.

Oh, Brandon Hyde certainly would have pulled him before that.

The Blue Jays feel and look like a team that's going to have to try and save the season by firing the manager very soon.

Things suddenly look brighter in Birdland. Rutschman bomb to win it.

Three bombs in his last two games. He's heating up.
