I doubt there’s even wagering on such, but I’d happily put the rent money on Clemson advancing out of the Tuscaloosa regional.

I looked at the D1 baseball rankings this week but didn’t make it past No. 1.

Men's and women's tennis in the Elite Eight. Softball No. 3 seed in the NCAA tournament. :)

Georgia State will build a new, 1,000-seat baseball stadium on the old site of Fulton County Stadium, which is now a parking lot. Not sure if they will keep the original home-plate location, but the Aaron Statue will be moved from the football stadium location back to the baseball park. They're also planning to build a new softball stadium on an adjacent parking lot.

They now play off-campus, about 12 miles away. That's pretty cool.

They should have two college students come out onto the field for every GSU home run and slap the batter on the back between second and third base.

Britt Gaston (RIP) and Cliff Courtenay were the two 17-year-olds who spent the night in jail after surprising Henry on the basepaths after 715. With all the threats and concerns for Aaron's safety, thankfully that little impromptu celebration didn't end tragically. Also, they ought to have a little tribute plaque somewhere near home plate for Craig Sager.

Birmingham Southern is one of a few D3/NAIA schools that have shuttered after COVID.

There are a tiny handful of BSC divinity students who are being allowed to finish up via online classes and graduate officially at the end of summer after having walked this month. Our youth pastor falls in that bucket.
