After the Red Sox & Phillies looked for anyone else in October 2018 and 2023, Kimbrel not closing for the Orioles in October is pretty much the safest bet out there. But who is the guy if it's not Cano, Webb or Coulombe (none of whom I think are the guy)? Mason Miller is the best closer who might be available and the O's would have him for FIVE more seasons after this, but that'll make his price incredibly expensive for a team that's hoarded its prospects. Plus, no one knows how he'll fare in a pennant race. Kenley Jansen has this-could-all-go-terribly-awry-at-any-second vibes as Kimbrel. O's really gotta figure that out b/c they are otherwise as good a candidate to win it all as anyone.

If there's any club that can put a prospect package together for Miller, I would think it's Baltimore. And if I'm in Mike Elias' shoes, I don't settle for anyone less.

I thought you had to click on the tweet on the website which would bring you to "twitter" but that doesn't seem to work anymore.

Do the Mets always whine this much about the strike zone? It’s like an NBA game out there.

Gotta say Jansen has done way better in Boston than I thought he would, but past performance no guarantee of future results, etc., etc.

Cleveland fans care so little about the Mets they don’t even boo Lindor.
