IMO, the Orioles can usher Dean Kremer out of the rotation any time now. The guy spends more innings trying to pitch out of trouble he created ...

Burnes-Bradish-Rodriguez-Means-Irvin. Ride with that. And if one of them falters, start thinking about introducing Cade Povich.

When you paste the link here you have to go and change x.com to twitter.com in the link.

See, I don't know what you folks are talking about. When I do the "embed post," it gives me a twitter.com URL to copy. I paste it down here, and it works perfectly.

Is that not happening for some of you?

Haha the shine is wearing off the pitch clock! The Mets came within one out of getting no-hit last weekend (hi @Deskgrunt50) and it took 2:45. A few days later, Aaron Nola shut them out in 2:48. I guess you could say it would have taken three and change before, but 2:45 and 2:48 to get no-hit for 8 2/3 innings and totally shut out seems like regression to the mean (for the pitch clock, that is, not the Mets, they're right where they should be).

One thing the Mets are exceedingly good at is prolonging torture. And long live the pitch clock!

    Dept. of stupid statistics:
Last night the Angels were the first team to have guys hit homers in the same game who were age 22 (Schanuel), 23 (Neto), 24 (O'Hoppe) and 25 (Adell).
KCBS found time in there 2-minute sports report to deliver this information.

That's some "Rolling In The Deep" minutia. (And yeah, I know his name is spelled Adell.)
