And how does that blow the prosecution’s case out of the water?

I didn't say that it does. It didn't help though.

They knew he was a flawed witness coming in and did as good of a job as you can bolstering his credibility with records ,with reliable testimony from others, and by acknowledging his flaws.

    It's a feature - not a bug - in TrumpWorld.

None of the people can be counted on for reliable testimony against him, because they're all shitty people, too.

Reliable testimony does not involve what kind of person the witness is. It involves statements by the witness that can partially or wholly be corroborated by other evidence. Ask Sammy the Bull Gravano.

... and yet here we are, listening to a Trump defense which amounts to, "Cohen is a terrible person so you can't trust his testimony."

This is and always has been a go-to line for defenses in criminal trials. Sometimes it works. More often it doesn't.

The prosecution will never find its Linda Kasabian, someone who witnessed the horrors but never got her hands dirty.

Let's not even figure in the $1b spent on investigating and prosecuting and jailing various MAGites, extra security costs to those targeting, security upgrades at elections offices, etc. etc.

I know there are people around the world who feel we "deserve Trump." That he is like "Vision" in the MCU, the Id of the US taken to full-form.

If there hasn't been some truths presented that would turn MAGAs away from Trump, do you really think those people move for anything? If it might work, it's already been tried and failed.

It isn't the MAGAs who need to be convinced of this/ They're a minority and always have been. It's everybody else, particularly the millions of people who are pridefully ignorant of all political matters. People are free to ignore politics, of course, but it's a risky freedom. I'm not asking the uninvolved to get as into it as say, posters on this thread, but for God's sake, read the news once in awhile. Learn the name of your Congressperson. Just a basic level of information.
