There are several credible foreign policy blogs/magazines out there reporting very similar numbers.

The sheer number of tanks, artillery pieces, and aircraft they've lost is simply incredible. The vast majority are accounted for by location, tail number, hull number, etc.

    it's crazy.

Oryx is very thorough in its counts. It only counts the equipment that has been visually confirmed with photos or videos. Their number is quite a bit lower than that, but they also acknowledge the actual number is likely much higher because of their methods.
They have about 3,000 tanks destroyed, and 16,000+ pieces of equipment of all types.
Troop losses are impossible to count, but like you said most of the places keeping up with it are estimating about 500,000 on the Russian side. Not surprising considering they've been employing good old-fashioned human wave attacks in every major battle.

The number of Chinese and to a lesser extent, Iranian vehicles destroyed is a bigger tell.

If the Norks had not kept the Russians in artillery shells while the House Republicans hamstrung Ukraine, it's a different ball game.

    Fuckers.

It's a wonder Ukraine held the line as well as they did during the House stalemate. Fortunate that it was during the winter months.

High time to cut the Russian "land bridge" and the actual Kerch Bridge to Crimea should be hosting a rain of HE rounds.

I agree, and although I've never blown up a bridge, it seems to me to be the easiest target in the world. You don't have to blow up the whole thing. Knocking out just a few feet makes the whole thing unusable. The Ukrainians should be targeting Soviet airbases inside Russia. Blast a few holes in the runway, and nothing is going in or out for a while.

They have been. Hell, they blew up a good chunk of the Kerch bridge a while back. It's just hard to hit at distance. They've done some drone strikes on airfields as well, but mostly damaged some planes and not runways.

So I guess the Ukrainians will be surrendering by August?
