    It is curious he’s doing it now. The story hinted this might be MLB finally telling him to pound sand, but in a union agreeable way. I guess it could also be health. For humanity’s sake, hope it’s the former. For baseball’s sake, it will be good to have him gone.

    But “was never considered MLB’s worst umpire” according to MLB’s statistical studies. Who TF missed more than 16.1 calls per game?
