When I was a junior lawyer, I second chaired a discrimination case. 4 day trial which started on Tuesday. Plaintiff’s counsel gave a closing argument which last over 2 hours. The partner I worked for started his closing with something like — let me see if I can get you home in time for the weekend and took about 15 minutes. Which was about as long as the jury took.

 

They should bring in Pacino to do the summation.
