More than Dick Cheney? More than Joe Biden?

Maybe I was out of the loop, too exhausted from Trump’s term, but I thought Biden kept her under wraps for way too long. I realize much of that had to do with her needing to be at the ready to break ties in the Senate, but I think he could have found a way to make America love Aunt Kamala, as Obama made us love Uncle Joe — especially considering the President’s age and (earlier) that we thought he might just be a one-termer.

Cheney wasn't out front all that much, but was definitely in the loop. Evil bastard.

 

What would be beneficial to the ticket would be if Biden had to go in for a non-life threatening procedure, maybe foot surgery or something - and had to go under. And while Harris was at the conn there was some national event Harris handled very well. It's a tough gig as VP. I think Team Obama let Biden roam free because Obama had charisma to spare. Rule one for the VP is not overshadowing the President, making them look bad. So you don't see Kamala doing things like exercising, dancing, being vibrant, sharp etc.

 

If he didn’t want to be tried in Washington, DC, he should have committed his crimes somewhere else.

 

What I meant is, he had her along on a lot of traditional events at the White House, like greeting the prime ministers, proclamations, etc. Of course, TFG was never going to yield the spotlight and Biden and Obama worked well together.

 

Which makes one wonder which lickspittle degenerate he picks to be his running mate.

 

With Trump, licking may be involved.

 

Obama needed to put Biden out there because Uncle Joe provided cover for some folks to vote for Obama. “Oh that kneegroh ain’t really in charge, it’s the white grandpa.”
