I have no doubt that an MLB season with metal bats would be marked by a pitcher fatality.

Shit, fatalities among infielders, on-field coaches, bat boys and rail birds.

Way way back during the 1981 strike, they had a college all-star game at Fenway. Some of us reporters and Red Sox manager Ralph Houk sat in the stands and enjoyed a fine summer day. Someone asked Houk about aluminum bats. "If we used those," he said, "we'd be burying six third baseman every season."

    FTFY.
Just imagine seeing college Bo Jackson strolling up to the plate with a 1980’s model Easton bat.

FWIW: Carapazza and Co. nailed it.
If Soto busts his butt to get back to the bag, you’ve got nothing.

Jorge Lopez said he’s been looking like the worst teammate in the MLB, right?

I see Baltimore fans clamoring for Lopez to return. They have very short memories.

The sounds that Bo's and Big Hurt's bats made at Auburn were scary.
