Every prosecutor everywhere in the country who was hesitating filing any charges on the grounds that such charges were utterly unprecedented in American legal history: the doors have been kicked open. File 'em all. File everything.

Got my latest Manhattan jury summons this week. Glad it didn't come a few months ago! Give me another case of a guy rubbing his dick over people on the subway instead of this case.

I kinda feel like a former president should lose Secret Service detail if convicted of a felony. Should be a thing.

Journalism question: How many sites will now refer to him as "former President and convicted felon Donald Trump" on first reference?
    Because they should.

    Happy for this verdict.
Happy that everybody who posted "hung jury" or "acquittal" or "won't be convicted" were wrong (you know who you are).
But I won't be ecstatic until they lock him up.

At some point, he'll make a run for it.

Donald Trump is the ultimate coward.

At last, at least some measure of accountability for this fucking criminal. Hopefully this is just the start.

Sentencing is scheduled three days before the Republican National Convention.

Thirty four counts, each from one to four years. If the sentence is probation or home confinement, that is effectively no punishment, which would be a horrible message to future would be coup plotters.
