    It did not.

I listened while dragging a trailer and lawnmower home from the cabin. It was pretty funny.

Does it really matter when the league will get 10-plus bids anyway?

One sports cliche I am sick of is “If I told you on ‘X’ date that you’d be in ‘Y’ situation in ‘Z’ game, you’d take it.”

Southern Miss beat Northern Kentucky 6-0 earlier today to win its eighth consecutive elimination game in the regional round. Southern Miss is 11-1 in regional elimination games since 2021.
I'm not sure what's more astounding — that record, or the simple fact they've played 12 elimination games in three-plus regionals. They've lost their first game three of the past four seasons, then came all the way back to win two regionals and get to the final game of the other one.

In less than two full games, Georgia's Dillon Carter has been hit four times during the Athens Regional. He was hit twice and walked three times Friday. So far today, he's been hit twice and flied out once. The fly ball is his only official at-bat, and only ball in play, in the regional so far. He was hit three times all season before Friday. He's a .235 hitter. Odd.
