    Not sure I am understanding this. Correct me if I am wrong. ... but were you trying to suggest that if you feel you have a legitimate grievance, rioting is OK?

    Prior to 1/6, you could have been like. ... oh, they don't like the election result, what are they going to do, storm the capital building and riot?

    They could have torn up lower Manhattan near the courts. They could have attacked the capital again. They could have gone crazy looting stores near Trump Tower, if they behaved in ways we have certainly seen before in this country.

    They rioted at the Capitol because Trump organized a “Stop the Steal” rally in DC and a bunch of groups used it as a springboard to riot. There were no rallies in Manhattan because the crazies knew that their message would be poorly received here. And DC is now much more prepared.
