This is what gets me about this stuff.

The poster seems like a fairly intelligent person, and hell yes, I hope he's right. But why in the world do people think that their personal experience is in any way indicative of national, even statewide trends?

 

“99% of Trump voters will not launch an armed rebellion” is not a risky take. To be clear, 1 would be too many, and 20 would be devastating.

 

If they do, well, let's see how they fare. My guess is that if say, a couple of Supreme Court justices and 10 or 20 Congresscritters met sudden deaths after an act of Trumpist violence, the rebellion would end right quick. I don't fear violent rebellion. If Trump loses, you'll see an attempt to win it by perverting the Constitution through corrupt courts. That's bad, but it's not terrorism bad.

 

FFS, CNN and every outlet needs to stop with the "falsely claimed" euphemism.

He lied. He lies. He will continue lying. He lies the way the rest of us breathe, involuntarily and without thought.
