All caveats apply re: me not being sure if I can attend--already have our summer vacation planned and shit's expensive cuz Biden--but the two best weekends for me would be the first two weekends of August in D.C. With school approaching for my teacher wife and student daughter, it's hard to plan anything in the back end of August. Also, my guess is the Nats will be out of the race by then and tickets to see the Brewers (good but only appealing to the diehards) and Angels (dogshit terrible and Trout will probably still be rehabbing) will be much easier/cheaper to procure than anything in Baltimore.

Damn, I forgot about school starting. That's a great point.

I voted Baltimore, but I’m cool with D.C., too. Lots of stuff I haven’t seen there.

Going to be tough for this year. Would rather sometime next year. Got Mom's 80th birthday (10 day cruise) and her actual day in August and September. My days off may be changing, so a quick flight not out of the question.

I can't see who voted in the polls, but if you voted for a DC/Baltimore trip, please let me know which of the weekends you prefer, so we can come to a consensus and get the ball rolling.

Any, all. I’ll go with what the pick is.

    I really need a vacation.

I'm in for DC. I live an hour and a half away. August or July would work for me, just not the first weekend or the last weekend, since I have a family reunion back in Pittsburgh.

OK. I'm officially making the call. SJ outing in DC will be 9-11 AUG, with a game vs. the Angels on 10 AUG.

If you want in, send me a PM.

    Thus far, I have:

    Confirmed:
    Me
    Swingline
    MisterCreosote
    BYM

    Most likely:
Moddy -- I discussed it with him during lunch Saturday.

    Potentially:

I'd like to join, but pretty sure Creosote would body slam me.

Also, paying for a wedding is reallllllly expensive.

Alsoalso, sweat will be pouring out of every one of your orifices all weekend. There's not enough air conditioning in the DMV to fight the effects of summer.

I wouldn't let Creosote body slam you. Hotel is $200, Nats suck and tickets are cheap.
