Everyone kind of attributed the success of Anyone But You to Sweeney, which seemed odd to me. The primary people buying tickets for that were women, and the male lead is Powell. He is a very attractive guy! And he's a charming, good actor.

This looks kinda fun. "Wolfs" as in Winston Wolf.

Found out today the sailing scene in Top Gun Maverick, was indeed filmed on SF Bay. It was one of the weirdest things in the movie because it clearly wasn't San Diego.

Glad to see Amy Ryan working. Amazingly talented actress who is underrated too.

I like Brad Pitt (an extremely adept comic actor) about as much as I dislike Clooney (who I find unbearably smug and a dull actor), so I'm ambivalent.

His acting was less terrible than hers, but that's a low bar.

I saw a couple of scenes of that movie; it wasn’t the acting that was front and center.

Can't believe it grossed over $200m on a $25m budget.

No, it definitely wasn't. I got stuck seeing the whole thing thanks to my wife and daughter. The scenery is nice, but that's about it.

Have you never seen "Michael Clayton?" It's Clooney at his best.

    YMMV.

Up In The Air is Clooney at his best.
