I think plenty of them are old enough to vote, but it's hard to believe that a ton of them weren't already voting D in previous elections, or that they're not heavily concentrated in safe D areas anyway. She's also pretty much at the tipping point for her Imperial Phase right now, too. Like she essentially willed that weepy double album to the top of the charts for a week, and I don't think she's going to be able to do that again for her next album unless the music resonates strongly with more than her core fandom.

The biggest thing she does is get people interested in registering and voting, like we saw last NFL season when so many Swifties discovered the game. A lot of them do skew blue, which of course scares MAGA.

A lot of them are females, which of course scares MAGA.

Newsweek's poll found that an endorsement from Swift would have the greatest impact on younger voters. Roughly 3 in 10 Americans under 35 said they'd be more likely to vote for a candidate backed by Swift.

Can Taylor Swift sway the 2024 election?

MAGA already has 2 or 3 of their own Swifts.

He's a "Kept Justice." Or one of those people who seek out sugar daddys to pay their way through college. I wonder if the Thomas's did one of those sad videos like the ASPCA did with Sarah McClachlan's song bemoaning that they can't afford to go to Europe this year, and will have to settle for a trip to Virginia Beach.

Taylor Swift has been releasing platinum albums since 2006, nearly 18 years ago. Even folks who didn't get on that hype train until she went fully pop have been there for a while — the original version of 1989 came out 10 years ago this fall. I think the average "Swiftie" is probably more likely to be 35 than 15.

Hopefully Biden gets a second term and goes full scorched earth on SCOTUS. It has no legitimacy whatsoever, and nine-unelected people shouldn't be able to sit in their ivory towers and dictate life for everyone else.
They want to be textualists, OK. The term judicial review doesn't appear in the constitution.

It's been leaked that Brett Kavanaugh is working on his memoirs.
