So has Jerry already told the mayor directly to fuck himself, or did he farm it out?

I'm surprised St. Louis has not entered the conversation regarding the Chiefs.

I've been unplugged from NFL offseason stuff for the most part. But I did wonder why in the fuck the Patriots held Tom Brady's team hall of fame/number retirement ceremony in the middle of June (June 12 specifically).

Apparently Robert Kraft said it was in the sixth month of the year for Brady's six Super Bowl rings with the team. And it was on the 12th for his jersey number.

First of all: Barf. Second of all, just say it's to sell a bunch of tickets to something during the offseason.

How much were tickets? Did they at least donate the money to some charity?

I prefer to be annoyed without further context!

As far as I can tell, they were $36 for season ticket holders and $100 for the general public. I didn't find any charity info, but I didn't look too hard.

I still think June is dumb. Do it during the season.

    From the NYT…

And, of course, tens of thousands of fans will be in attendance. The team put tickets for sale in waves, and each batch sold out the same day, likely making for a packed stadium Wednesday night. Those ticket sales were mostly meant to cover operational expenses, but the full cost of the show is expected to far exceed the ticket revenue generated.

You think the Pats will be featured in a Fox A game? or in Prime Time?

Fuck it, Dallas is big enough for three teams. Move the Commanders there and re-rename them the Redskins! Cowboys, Indians and Redskins deep in the heart of deep red Texas! Eat shit liberals!!!

How many NFL quarterbacks can you count who are more deserving of being the game's highest-paid? (I believe I can list a few.)
