This is very well-put. I'd add they made their careers on being contrarians, and now they can't stop it, b/c in some way everyone else has caught up to them and made pondering contrarian points of view part of their analysis. So this means they go from offering an overlooked/undervalued solution/possibility to the dumbest fucking solutions/possibilities in the world.

 

The Orioles absolutely shoving it up the Yankees’ ass to win the series is glorious. And loud.

 

Baltimore is 16-0-6 in its last 22 series against AL East opponents.
