The funny thing about the Gaetz stuff - clearly the GOP caucus hates him - but I also think he would name others in the caucus who were just as pervy as himself if this goes much further. While I would love to see him do so on a speech on the floor - I think some good leaks would be more fun.

 

Gaetz doesn't have the DC connections or seniority to do much damage. The old guard could ruin him with one phone call. For now, he's a useful idiot to keep the MAGA base appeased.

 

Democrats should offer a compromise. Forget the Old Testament 10 commandments. Post the Beatitudes in those places.
