    Every so often, somebody will do a Player A played with Player B who played with Player C and so on until they connect with Cy Young or Wee Willie Keeler. We don't have to work that hard to find connections to the institutional racism this nation inflicted on our fellow citizens. Hell, there are still survivors of the Tulsa and Elaine race massacres.

    That was so over-the-top inappropriate and ridiculous that I was laughing while reading it. It felt like he thought he was being funny, and how unfunny it was makes it even funnier, if that makes sense.

    There has to be a story beyond the story for what he was thinking (or not thinking).
