They play in the same conference as the Chefs.

His bio - which is still up on the A&M site - mentions a son and daughter, but no wife.

They got divorced in 2021 right before he took the A&M job. He "left his family" because she got full custody of the kids.

Well his kids will probably like visiting Austin more than visiting Bryan/College Station. Reports say he's heading to UT.

Ask fans without a dog in the fight five days ago which coach would be more likely to make a fool of himself this week, and I'm guessing most of the votes would not have gone to Schlossnagle.

Former Tulane assistant HC replacing former Tulane HC at Texas.

The aTm-Texas games next year should be interesting.

I suspect the marriage had already gone south before the coach did. To suggest he loved ATM so much that he was willing to sacrifice his family for that job is either dishonest or an admission of some very warped values.

Some might say those are SECessionist values. Seceding from his marriage, for starters.

    I don’t get the move.
Unless Texas was going to give him a train load of money……yeah, him and Del Conte are super close……facilities are probably equal…..same conference…..I would say it’s prolly safer at AtM because at UT, you’re always coaching under the shadow of St. Augie.
