That's not much of an apology. More of an attempted explanation. He owed the guy as direct an apology as the contemptuous, spitting "Write that" line he angrily delivered the other night.

Texas seems to be a place successful coaches suddenly become mortal. Hoops, football, whatever - they never seem to quite deliver.

Riiiiight. The money owed to Jimbo is why A&M hosted the first-ever concert at Kyle Field, a George Strait concert last week, and allowed a Mexico-Brazil soccer match at the field. It's looking for new ways to make money to cover that payout.
