President Biden: The NEW one and only politics thread

Here's what I don't get about debates. The research is overwhelmingly clear that the audience is mostly composed of dedicated partisans, that is, people who already know how they're gonna vote. That's part of what I don't get. I know how I'm gonna vote, so I'm not watching. Meanwhile, the less political audience, the decisive group in any election, will be much less likely to watch. I don't blame 'em, but it seems so inefficient for both campaigns. All it does is allow CNN to perform self-CPR on its dying body.

 

1. You have data from 2020 and 2021 mixing with state legislature makeup from the middle of 2022. Shouldn't you use state legislature makeup from the middle of 2020?
2. Trumpist states are generally less healthy to begin with. Being less healthy to begin with was a large indicator of bad COVID outcomes.

And within the first back-and-forth, Trump says Biden “created mandates” during COVID-19, lying as usual.
