It's hard to argue selling tix for a September game to first-time visitors who would pay enough to cover your tickets for the next couple years.

Atlanta always has been and always will be a terrible sports town. The most popular team by far among Atlanta sports fans plays 70 miles away.

Los Angeles is similar. It used to be said that the Kings had 8,000 fans and only got a sellout if each brought a friend to the game with them.

The original six still bring large crowds to games but otherwise Kings fans sellout most home games now.

Like New York, the fan base is small but passionate.

I looked at getting Wizards-Trailblazers tickets in April and was blown away by how cheap it was.

Apparently Lou is blackballing Mogilny. He likely wasn’t even nominated.

The HoF operates with more secrecy than the Vatican.

Here in Duluth, I see a story every two months about how we're the last place that's going to survive climate change. So in 2075, we're gonna be South Beach!

Is Lou even on the selection committee?

Nope, but apparently such is the power he wields.

I just found out Poile is on it - another chuckle.

    He doesn’t have to be.

I would love to know what Campbell did to be worthy.

Perhaps I’m being naive but honestly, what could Lou possibly do to somebody who nominated Mogilny? He’s 81 years old and runs a franchise nobody cares about.
