I thought we played pretty well, but I sure hope Berhalter is gone.

And this ref has been terrible

The goal scorer was offsides on the header. The keepers save doesn’t negate that.

Didn’t matter. We never scored the goal we needed

The 2 players were in an offside position when the header was made. That’s offside all day to me. I’ve seen that called offside a bunch.

I do not think this is the case with VAR. It is either is or it isn't, especially with offside where they can exactly see where the players are with the technology. I brought up the Euro game the other day. They overturned a goal when the dude was a millimeter offside.

I have seen much less called offside!

Pulisic was motioning to the refs to go celebrate with Uruguay

I thought it was an easy call and without sound assumed I had missed something.

I think you can be offside if you don’t touch the ball and you don’t do something that affects the play. I’ll defer to other posters who know offsides on the rebound but I think the header was clean. The argument is on the rebound.

When the header is struck, the goal scorer is offside. End. Of. Story.

You can, but he touches and put it in the net. A save does not put you onside.

The header is fine, if it goes in there is no issue.

That’s what I was missing there. I thought you meant the guy scoring had to make a deliberate play. And are you referring to him being offside? Because that also changes what I’m arguing
