At long last, the Mania doc is out. The confirmation that the plan was Rollins/Punk and Rock/Roman before Punk's injury and the pivots.

So, what would they have done with Cody if the plan was always for him to win the Rumble? Just go with some odd match for Mania and take an IOU for 2025?

Also, still would like a more all-encompassing doc for Mania -- would love to see the stories for Priest, Sami, Rhea, Miz/Truth, etc.

 

That was good. Yeah, it’s unclear what would have happened with Cody. Maybe something with Judgment Day where he beats Priest and later Priest cashes in on Rollins. Then Cody chases Priest, beats him, then loses to someone at the Rumble, wins the Rumble for a third time and goes after Roman. Who has continued to be in God mode after beating Rock in 2024.

 

I’m not buying much of that doc. It was a commercial for Wrestlemania 41. I think they’re kayfabbing us.

i dont for 1 second believe Cody went into business for himself pointing at Reigns after the Rumble. Why was Reigns even in the box if that wasn’t the plan?
