I did figure out that the Rangers' ugly city uniforms have a spur rowel on the end of the R in the logo. Burn the pants, change the colors to their natural uniforms.

I liked the uniform the Pirates wore tonight. I didn’t care for the 37 home runs they hit against the Mets.

Brewers lead the league in grand slams with 7 … 6 have come in the last 13 games.

Went to see Paul Skenes tonight; saw the Pirates hit two grand slams, tie the team record for homers, and run out of fireworks because of it.

Angels report: A six-game winning streak ended Sunday with a loss to the Tigers. Then they were swept in a three-game series by the vaunted A's. Today, they lost to the Cubs to extend a five-game losing streak.
Last three games they have 1 run and 11 hits.
Wednesday -- Five hits, no runs. A's starter Joey Estes goes the distance.
Thursday -- Four hits, no runs. A's use starter JP Sears and four relievers.
Friday -- One run, 2 hits. Cubs starter Justin Steele goes the distance.

Plus Rengifo, perhaps their best trade chip, went on the IL.

Cade Povich is having a moment in Oakland. Not a good one, either. This is the sort of start that gets a dude shipped back to Triple A.

If a 17-4 loss can be useful … at least it shows that Povich and Irvin are not serious people. Irvin couldn’t even pitch well in a mop-up role down 14 runs. Get on the phone, Elias.

I really like Irvin. Great team guy. I think he’ll survive as a mop-up man.
Povich is now in an odd spot.

White Sox are so bad they lost to Marlins and Rockies in Crochet’s last two starts.
