Is that the media's job, though? To the degree we've seen since the debate? Or as spnited always reminded us, "We are not the story, we are the story tellers."

I do think "big media" or whatever sees Trump as a genuine threat to democracy, to their professional duties, to their industry, similar to the way Big Oil contributes to opponents of environmental candidates. Secondly, the days of media being neutral observers, letting people say whatever they want to say and then "leaving it there" for "you to decide" are over. Or at least should be. A lot of candidates and other people pushing dangerous ideas and ideologies have used the needs of cable news ops to "fill the other side of the screen" to generate followings and gain legitimacy. It's really stunning how many idiots were given legitimacy denying COVID. And I do think the success of Fox News' ability to "generate a narrative" to guide their coverage, whether their premise is factually accurate or not has proven to be a template for getting ratings in between national emergencies and breaking news.

Is it possible that if Biden wins, he's in the same position now, except the Senate goes to the GOP and the house is run by the Dems, and you have four years like the last four and then both parties get to start with candidates from scratch?

Entering a second Biden term, full stop, is the WHOLE POINT.

Saw Ja Rule once. With Ashanti. At halftime of the NFC Championship game between the Eagles and the Bucs. It was also the last game at Veterans Stadium. They were booed off the field after one song.

The House flips blue no matter who wins the White House and Jeffries will be our first Black speaker. That is a given.

However, the Senate is much more important and it's 50-50 from jump street because of Manchin's exit. It's a tough map, so I'll take 50-50 if Biden and Harris win. There will be no more Manchins or Sinemas to show their asses, although Tester has been testing those waters and that is worrisome.

HOWEVER .... If Stinky wins with a 50-50 Senate, he'll have his V getting pumped by the T to break the tie and no "acting" moniker will be needed.

    A different judge update:

replaced an 85 year-old appointed by Bush I who had served since 1992 with a 48-year old

Biden has now appointed 5 of the 11 judges in the 7th circuit: Hispanic woman, white man, Black woman, Asian man, Black woman

Trump's four: white man, white woman, white man, white manthat followed the white woman, white man from W and Reagan.
