If Trump wins (and unless he takes a Sharpie to the 22nd Amendment or dies in office) America will go a minimum of 20 years between electing incumbents, with the next opportunity not coming until at least 2032. The only longer stretch by my quick and dirty calculus is 1872-1900.

I hope I live long enough to piss on his grave, as well as that of McConnell, Alito, Thomas, et. al. ...

    Damn. Sure enough.
We have to do better as a country.
If not for Constitutional amendment, Barack Obama could run in 2040, win and still be younger than Biden is today when starting his next term.

I think I had found that one the first time, then forgot it when I double checked and relized I was counting a 20-year stretch last century that was broken up by Cal Coolidge getting a partial term after Harding died. Good catch.

I almost messed up because McKinley died months into his second term which made the gap look bigger.

    Goldwater?

Edit: Looked it up, I was wrong. Is this actual trivia or are you looking for the answer?

If not, who in the will is receiving a mason jar, map, and list of instructions?

Wallace in 68 would be my guess. Anderson and Perot didn’t get on the board in the Elecroral College.
