Despite Gee's plea to avoid quips about this, I think that if it is a legit attempt, it is something Trump created himself. He has split this country in half and -- as Jan. 6 showed -- he is not averse to violence to get his way. He would be celebrating in private if Biden got shot. Now watch, he will make a grand return. Does he still have a Superman outfit?

Let’s wait and see about deaths and what happened to the shooter. It’s a report that a DA says. No one else reporting it means wait and see.

 

If he did, SCOTUS made him immune to prosecution.

I think I’ve told this story on here before, but anyhoo. I remember reading an interview from Dick Cheney about what happened on 9/11. He said he was preparing for a meeting when the Secret Service came to him and told him he was being moved to a secure location. Cheney said he’d leave in a minute and started gathering up some papers.

One Secret Service agent told him he was leaving now, and several of them grabbed him and started carrying him out of the room. Cheney said he tried to grab a magazine to read and couldn’t because the agents had such a firm grip on him. Cheney said that he gained a new respect for the Secret Service that day.
