Have we gotten a proof of life from Alec Baldwin as we await the identity of the shooter?

 

The Secret Service is going to have to get its stories straight. They're telling people on background that it was glass, not a bullet. But now the protectee is claiming it was a bullet. Of course, the protectee is a serial liar.

 

Not sure what the former Notre Dame coach who didn’t want to play Rudy has anything to do with this, but it is what it is.

 

From a Boston Globe report:

“The crowd was in shock. Most people crouched down, trying to take cover, although it was just an open field with fences like any county fairground.

“After Trump had been escorted to his car and people sensed the rally was over and they were safe, the crowd turned on the media.

“The crowd was angry. Middle fingers were everywhere. They asked the press if they were happy and blamed the media.

“‘You did this,’ they said to reporters.”

If he indeed was hit by a bullet on that portion of his ear, he'd be dead.

 

If CBS’s sources are right on the yardage, he was a bad shot and the Secret Service massively fucked up.

“Law enforcement sources told CBS News the suspect was shooting with AR-style rifle from 200-300 feet away.”

That’s 100 yards or less.

 

Yeah, knowing what we do about the likely location of the shooter and the position of his head, I'm struggling to reconcile how that shot would have only hit his ear and not the back of his neck. Unless they got it from the Magic Bullet factory and put it on reverse.

 

Yeah it was bullshit how the media chanted “lock her up.”
Called the other side “enemies” instead of “opponents.”
Tried running the vice presidents campaign bus off the road.
Spent 30 years telling everyone that the other side hates America.
Incited a violent storming of the capitol on January 6.
Bought time someone said something about it.

 

Ironically, this might be the event that finally convinces me to throw my phone into the Ohio River and find an acre of land in the country with no possible way of receiving wifi.
