I didn't think the singing was appreciably worse than some of the other anthems I heard.

But again, wtf do we need an anthem for HR derby?

I don't know about her, but I sing better when I get drunk. Never tried it with alternative intoxicants.

And if that's her problem, the solution is just lay off the booze until downbeat.

In the Eighties my buddy and I were killing time at MSG waiting for Tears for Fears, so we broke out the anthem. He's a trained singer who'd performed it before basketball games at GW, and I threw in the harmony. We had our floor section all singing by the end.

 

YOU ONLY COVER US WHEN A DRUNK GUY SINGS THE ANTHEM!!!!
