Don't nobody say nothin' about my boy Bryce when they introduce the starting lineups like this.

There's a couple of slow pitch teams out there with missing uniforms.

I wonder how much "Ohtani's translator" had on that homer.

When visiting my daughter in Brooklyn last summer she wanted an evening with her friends. Understood. I checked the Yankees and Mets...and the Angels were in town to play the Mets.

Took me three trains to get there, but I saw Shohei hit a triple, two doubles, steal 2nd and 3rd. The Mets intentionally walked Ohtani in the 9th and the Mets fans booed.

Watched it from halfway up lower level on 3rd base side for $20. Immediately one of my best in-person baseball memories and had great fans around me. Went by myself, found the trains back by myself and into my AirBnB by midnight. Just an awesome night. Good beers.

That 3-run bomb was fun tonight. I'll never not marvel at Shohei. I'm glad I saw him.

The David Ortiz inning is always the worst.

Has there been a run scored after the fifth inning of an ASG this century?

It’s always the lesser stars vs fresh arms.

He led the open by busting into a saloon wearing his Colorado sweatshirt and braying about how everything is bigger in Texas.

Othani hitting a bomb that looked like a big leaguer teeing off of a JV pitcher, and Skenes making one of the greatest hitters of our generation look like a JV player seeing his first real slider made the game worth watching.

And I don’t think Skenes crossed up his catcher with that 100 MPH should-have-been-strike-three-pitch. Skenes makes big leaguers look like kids.

Judge, Othani, Skenes, Harper… even though inter-league has spoiled some magic, getting all that on the field at once is still special.
