    You're right. Duh.

I think it would've worked for me if I got the sense she'd been driven off the edge by everything. But I think we were meant to find it heartwarming or whatever.

Paul Schrader's Blue Collar starring the power trio of Richard Pryor, Harvey Keitel and Yaphet Kotto. Gritty, downbeat and worth a look. One of Springsteen's favorite movies. Probably the only drama Ed Begley Jr. ever did.

Ghostbusters. Haven't seen it in forever. One of my favorites as a kid. Probably Bill Murray's best role. Rick Moranis was sneaky awesome. In the shit times we're going through right now was good for some memorable laughs.

    "Where do these stairs go?"

    "They go up."

Kills me every time. So many great lines in Ghostbusters.

    "What did you do, Ray?"

Murray's line-reading throughout the entire movie is so perfect.

Liam Neeson's Marlowe. Decent flick. Always nice to see Colm Meaney. Based on a Marlowe novel by a contemporary Irish novelist. Filmed entirely in Europe (exteriors in Spain, interiors in Ireland). Co-starring Diane Kruger, Jessica Lange, Alan Cumming and the always creepy Danny Huston.

“Are you, Alice, menstruating right now?”

“What’s that got to do with it?”

“Back off, man. I’m a scientist!”

The most important person in Starfleet history! (Sorry. That one's a bit of a deep cut.)

Agreed, but referring to him as the most important person in Starfleet history is from a gag on Lower Decks.

When I said “reboot” I meant among the TV series to come out in the last 10 years. I was calling Lower Decks the best of those.

Oh, my bad. Funny thing is, I haven't watched much of the show. I just know about that scene.
