    Oh, I forgot the best part. Our 401ks were mismanaged by a cousin of the owners. Company matching? Never heard of it. I think after 18 years my retirement account was a whopping 30k. I made more than that on paper yesterday because of a blip in the stock market.
    Someone wants to retire, that’s not the company’s concern. We had two old men pushing 80 who fell out and died on the job - one in a high school press box and one in the newsroom- because they were still working.

    Hell, my part-time gig in writing is superior to my full-time gig at the papers I worked at. I've been sent to Vegas multiple times (traveled paid for), London (same deal) and will be going to Orlando in November. Only place the paper sent me was the fair queen pageant and to a fatal auto accident. When we won awards in the Keystone Press Awards, they wouldn't even spring for the banquet.

    Fewer than 20 million viewers have watched each night of the convention. More than 155 million votes were cast in 2020. Trump got 74m votes that year. He's not even reaching 30 percent of his previous supporters.
