How do the wrap up the tennis tourney in a week, but it takes two weeks to finish up the beach volleyball? Heck, the pro tour gets their events done in a weekend.

Sleigh, generally bigger, pulled by animals, used for transportation (think Santa Claus).

    Sled, used for recreation.

So yeah, maybe it should be called the Iditarod Sleigh Dog Race, but it isn't.

The Olympics have been using bobsleigh, though I only have noticed that fairly recently.

The Armstrong apologist was over the hill when I quit watching the sport a decade ago. Good riddance.

The more I hear Liggett and the gymnastics announcer, the more I miss Al Trautwig.
