The official campaign ads the last two weeks have been very stark in their contrast.

Trump's ads are all fear and apocalypse.

Harris' ads are optimism and hope.

I get that some of that is Harris reintroducing herself to the general public, but still. Trump's ads are so dark and bleak that they're borderline parody.

I might've mentioned before, forgive me if I have, but the tone of Republicans' campaign reminds me of unionists in Northern Ireland. They are scared shitless of the day there's a united Ireland and their only club in the bag is fear. The UVF/UDA murals around Belfast are all masked guys in guns. They've somewhat given up on trying to scare Fenians, and now they're just burning out immigrants.

The nationalist murals are generally uplifting and honoring those who took part in the cause (armed or otherwise).

 

There should be things Trumpies don’t get to bitch about:
1. Harris passing over the Jewish guy (Trump dining with a Nazi, “very fine people,” etc.
2. Doug Emhof’s affair (Their Orange god and the porn star, etc.)
3. Any spin on Walz’ military record (bone spurs)
But of course they will, with no shame or sense of irony.

 

I welcome Republicans reminding voters of the Iraq War in any context.
