Gabby Thomas looked absolutely majestic in those final 50 meters.

Hearing that French pole vaulter guy is signing a deal with a baguette company, he'll be known henceforth as "the Big Baguette."

    Or "the Schlong from Lyon."

Let's hear it for Amit Elor. The 20-year-old cruised to a gold in wrestling.

Phelps, Biles, Ledecky all great Olympic careers But wow Cuba’s Mijain Lopez won his 5th gold medal in Greco-Roman wrestling Incredible Deserves to have his name among the greatest Olympian’s all time

Men's hoops with 101 points and eight minutes left. Seems good

Those are stories NBC should be finding and presenting every night in prime time, not in the fringe shows. I understood why Tokyo didn't get a lot of local color because of COVID, but damn, get away from the set and show me around PARIS, not just the sports venues and not the postcard pics.

And for God's sake, don't take Snoop or SNL. Just do it as a simple flavor (literal, in this case) piece.

I'd love to know when the men's javelin is being shown. I know the prelims were today. It's the one thing I've really wanted to watch.

It is shocking how bad the track coverage has been compared to swimming.

I know Rowdy Gaines isn't everyone's cup of tea, but he does a great job of explaining things and contextualing races.

There has been none of that in track.

I actually thought Diffey's call at the end of the 1500 was solid. But they did everyone a disservice by not explaining what happened to the two favorites or how Hocker pulled it off.
