The comparison of Tim Walz to Ted Lasso is absolutely spot-on perfect.

 

I haven't seen promos in Philly to rabid crowds like this since the heydays of Paul Heyman and ECW.

In the long run I think both of them are better off not being the VP choice.

 

I'm not sure he actually told his son that - he uses the phrase "I'm like," which can be construed to be a thought bubble - but I'm not sure it is weird. Thinking it certainly isn't.

But again - to indict someone else's weirdness assumes there's nothing weird at all about your candidate, and the universal definition of what weird is held by your party alone.
