    Excluding Jackie Robinson.
    Everyone has retired 42.

Well then Edgar. Wasn't sure if he was retired but he's the obvious one, more so than Johnson.

I was stunned that neither Johnson or Ichiro had theirs retired, until I remembered that they both wore the same number.

Which is wild since 51 probably isn't a particularly popular/worn number in baseball history.

The Penguin is morphing into Walter Alston.

Bruce Bochte and Mike Schooler (whose birthday is today for a few more seconds)?

My guess is they will do a dual ceremony after Ichiro is elected to the HOF.

Bernie Williams as well, which is why Ichiro wore # 31 with the Yankees.

I know it's super hard to win the World Series without hitting, but goddamn, the Mariners have looked great the last two nights.

As much criticism (deserved) as DiPito gets, the acquisitions of Arozarena and Turner have worked out well.

Like a lot of teams, the M’s need another bullpen arm or two for a playoff run. But their starters are legit if they can get to the postseason.
