    Then you should know better.

Hey, it's the other guy with a perpetual bug up his ass.

Here's a crazy idea. Maybe if Mercedes knew there was a legitimate issue with the car, they should have had Russell pull over and let Hamilton get a free win so at least if there was a DQ, it wouldn't be a guy on top of the podium.

On on better note, Tony Stewart made his first Top Fuel final today. He did well off the line, but the car wasn't a match for Antron Brown.

Yes, clearly the superior choice is to have the race decided by the whims of the engineers -- and also their failings.

They ran an illegally underweight car. He won by a half-second with a car that was illegally underweight.

I mean, this isn't even close to a tough call for anyone involved.

I was thinking back to last week.

Another issue that I heard raised is that, in most places, you can pick up that much weight just in marbles on the cool down lap. However, at Spa, due to the design of the track, they basically do the hairpin and then enter the pits in the backdoor. Should have had some extra frites last night.

Just picked up Spa on my DVR. Somewhere, Gary Nelson and Chad Knaus nod their approval.

Maybe Mercedes should start painting their race sleds again. Think that might help with 3.3 lbs.?

Well, that's gonna get 'em talking.

(ICYMI, Austin Dillon just wrecked two guys to win Richmond.)

He turned his racecar into a bulldozer. The last guy to drive the No. 3 would probably approve of that move. Joey Logano, however, did not.

    That was a punk move.

At least Earnhardt was at Labonte’s bumper.

This clown was as Logano said, four car lengths behind.

It’s an insult to Earnhardt’s legacy that he drives the same number.

I look forward to seeing Dillon get wrecked in every one of the final 13 races.
